We're delighted with our trip, everything was planned with precision (all our drivers and guides were on time, if not ahead of schedule, so no stress for us).

To improve our offer, we suggest the following points:

Guides:

Sapa - Khanh has mastered the language of Molière and more, and excels in French-style humor. His knowledge of his country is impeccable, and he's able to answer all your questions about Vietnam - bravo.

Hué - It was a guide whose first name I didn't remember, she spoke correct French but you had to strain your ear to understand certain words. What's more, she used a rather recitative style, which didn't leave much room for questions and answers.

Cambodia: Bousin and his driver are very kind and considerate young Cambodians. We had a wonderful time in their company, with a few extras to boot. Well done to them!

Saigon: Minh is a fascinating and passionate guide to his southern province, a bottomless well of culture, perhaps too serious as the origin of his name indicates, we found him interesting but a little chauvinistic for his southern region...(so little!)

Areas for improvement:

In our program, if we had to do it all over again, we'd take a guide on the first day in Hanoi, as it's not easy to disembark in Hanoi on the first day after more than 11 hours in the air.

Likewise for the visit to Hoi An, the presence of a guide would have been a plus for visiting the surrounding area. For Hoi An, everything is concentrated, with the possibility of taking a tour booklet.

Hotels:

Highly commendable for family-run hotels:

Elégance Hotel for the kindness of the hostesses and Nam Hotels for the availability of the whole family, from the availability of the room to the evening and our dinner in the hotel lobby. We'll never forget the gift of manie and the kiss before we left for the train...

Hôtel d'Angkor for its exotic setting and swimming pool.

A special mention for the Serene Hotel and its soothing Spa after a chaotic night on the train.

Correct mention for the other hotels

Not so good for the hotels, where we took a shower after the train (still good enough)

A little better mention for the 4-star hotel, which offered us a windowless room with air conditioning and a fridge that could be improved, but the breakfast buffet was very good.

A special mention for our chambre d'hôtes, in an exotic setting with our own table of tourists and those of the guides, drivers and owners. Well done

Station:

It was not easy to change our vouchers at Hanoi station, despite all the questions we asked the onlookers.

For the return trip to Hanoi station, thanks to Khanh for his help, we picked up the voucher at a hotel...

Trains:

We'd say we've had an unforgettable experience...

Conclusion;

Our trip corresponded in every way to our request, that is to say an authentic trip full of colors and flavors, thank you again Phi.

To Mr Phi,

Here we are, back in France, with our eyes full of magnificent sights;

This trip was a success: its organization, the choice of destinations, the people we met…

The only stopover we didn't like was Sapa: too touristy, dirty and artificial.

If we had to do it all over again, we'd prefer to stay one or 2 more days in the same place, especially at a homestay where we've always been made very welcome. By the way, could you give me the contact details of the Xam Khoe homestay where we stayed on February 21 and 22. I have photos to send.

We were delighted with the food: fresh, varied, hearty and well presented…

Our driver was also perfect: punctual, safe, pleasant, careful and helpful...

The only drawback was the difficulty of communicating, despite Google Trad, which was a great help.

We couldn't get all our questions answered. A French-speaking guide would have helped. Your language is very difficult and I didn't have time to study it before leaving. Perhaps on a future trip I'll be more comfortable with people who just want to talk.

The budget for this trip was substantial, but we feel we got "good value for money".

If you can pass on a message to the people involved or responsible, here it is :

"Vietnam is a beautiful, welcoming, inexpensive country that is attracting more and more people. We need to make sure it stays the way it is, without seeing it deteriorated by the many plastics and garbage littering the ground in places where they shouldn't be (near schools or on tourist sites). Teachers need to make young people aware of their responsibilities, and measures should be taken to encourage tourists to use garbage cans! Working Vietnamese are very clean and generally clean up after themselves. This country must remain beautiful and welcoming."

De retour en France avec température de 10°!!

Je te fais un petit topo de notre voyage.

Tout le monde est revenu enchanté: bon rythme, activités variées, superbes paysages , belles rencontres, bonne gastronomie,  +++++

Guides et chauffeurs très ponctuels (aéroports et le matin à l'hôtel)

Guides:

-  Mékong: Vù: très bon français, bonnes connaissances, mais un peu trop accroché à son téléphone portable !

-  Hauts Plateaux: Ban: l'excellence en tous points. On ne peut rêver mieux !

-  Dalat: Koï: très intéressant

-  Centre: Thinh: très bon contact, de l'humour, nombreuses connaissances, excellent français

-  Cambodge: Sothy: très bon français, maîtrise parfaitement son sujet mais trop professionnel, manque de convivialité!

Hébergements: 

Les plus appréciés: gîte à Cho Lach, hôtel à Hué, à Siem Reap et à Can Tho.

 Le moins: hôtel à Kontum ( bien vieillissant)

 Les autres : correct

 Nuits dépaysantes chez les Edés

Activités:

Les plus appréciées:

-Street food en scooter (impeccable après quelques minutes d'angoisse au milieu de la circulation): 5 jeunes charmants, 4 arrêts de découverte gastronomique

-Spectacle Teh Dar Show à l’Opéra

-Rencontre avec les Jaraï: cérémonie de l'engagement

-Marché flottant de Cai Rang

-Hué

-Grottes de Phong Nha

et bien sûr Angkor!!!!

Nous voilà de retour en France avec plein de souvenirs du Vietnam et de votre excellent accueil, organisation, disponibilité tout au long de notre voyage.

Nous ne manquerons pas de recommander votre agence aux amis et plus encore.

Ici nous avons trouvé beaucoup de neige et notre retour dans le Sud de la France a été perturbé par l'annulation de notre vol pour Montpellier. Mais tout s'est arrangé, nous avons pu regagner notre domicile par le train TGV.

Madame ,

Toute la petite famille est bien rentrée. Merci pour cette très belle escapade dans ce beau pays. Votre proposition correspondait bien à ce que nous souhaitions.

Bravo pour les prestations...transport, guides et hôtels.

Pour les places dans l’avion cela n’a pas été très facile mais notre guide nous a bien aidé jusqu’au dernier moment.

Bon je l’avoue j’aimerai ce matin être davantage dans la phase de préparation mais toutes les bonnes choses ont une fin.
